Consideration of special needs of the candidate

Suitable evidence for the accomodation of special needs is:

•   medical certificate / psychological expert opinion
•   copy of disabled pass

The medical certificate should describe and justify the compensation for disadvantage which are necessary and suitable from a medical point of view.

The Head of Certification Body decides about the consideration of a handicap. It always is a case-by-case decision about the individual examination conditions to meet the needs.

The application for accomodation of special needs has to be addressed to the Head of Certification Body before applying for an examination.

Special demands of people with special needs shall be accomodated for the implementation of examinations within the certification schemes of SECTOR Cert. This especially applies to the duration of the examination and admission of materials. The type of physical impairment has to be proven along with the admission to the examination.
