This course provides basic information and lays the foundations of the level 3 training. Here you will gain - beyond the general information regarding the qualification of personnel - an extensive and sound basic knowledge. You will also gain insight into the common main methods and furthermore, gain a detailed overview about other NDT methods.

Passing the BASIC exam is one of the requirements for level-3-certification in a main method.Since the introduction of DIN EN ISO 9712:2022-09 participation in BASIC training is not mandatory (but recommended).

BASIC courses monitored by SECTOR Cert are organised by VECTOR TUB GmbH in 45525 Hattingen.

Training courses should cover the training contents recognized by the BASIC technical committee.

The time of training is 10 days. (One day duration is at least seven days, which can be achieved on a single day or by accumulating hours.)

 The BASIC training is not required for the certification.
