Penetrant Testing (PT) level 2 according to DIN EN ISO 9712
Training
Training courses have to cover the training contents recognized by the PT technical committee.
The minimum training hours are 24 hours.
Training centres
Training courses for Penetrant Testing level 2 are held at locations recognized by us.
The minimum time of training is 2 days. (One day duration is at least seven hours, which can be achieved on a single day or by accumulating hours.)

Number of test specimen initial examination
In product sectors at least two test specimen are to be used. In doing so the second and every other specimen has to be different in its kind from the previous ones, e. g. by shape of the product, material properties, form, size and type of error.
Level 2 requires writing a test instruction about one test specimen chosen by the examiner.
