Ultrasonic Testing (UT) level 2 according to DIN EN ISO 9712

Training

Training courses have to cover the training contents recognized by the UT technical committee.

The minimum time of training is 10 days. (One day duration is at least 7 hours, which can be achieved on a single day or by accumulating hours.)

Training courses for Ultrasonic Testing level 2 take place at locations recognized by us.

Number of test specimen initial examination

In product sectors at least two test specimen are to be used. In doing so the second and every other specimen has to be different in its kind from the previous ones, e. g. by shape of the product, material properties, form, size and type of error.

Level 2 requires writing a test instruction about one test specimen chosen by the examiner.
