Ultrasonic Testing (UT) level 3 according to DIN EN ISO 9712

Training courses have to cover the training contents recognized by the UT technical committee.

The minimum time of training is 5 days. (One day duration is at least seven hours, which can be achieved on a single day or by accumulating hours)

Please note that if you are seeking certification in a Level 3 procedure, you must have passed the BASIC exam.

For direct access to level 3 without prior certification in level 2, the minimum days of training UT1-3 according to DIN EN ISO 9712:2022-09 - in total: 23 days - have to be documented. (One day duration is at least seven hours, which can be achieved on a single day or by accumulating hours)

In the event of seeking certification in more than one method or with higher education in a relevant subject the total required number of training days may be reduced by up to 50% upon special request. Any reduction requires acceptance by the ZS.
