The traing will be done in co-operation with the German association for applied thermography (VATh)

Content:

Instead of the BASIC examination laid down in DIN EN 473, for applications in the field of passive thermography the candidate may, alternatively, take a BASIC exam based on DIN 54162, this being specially tailored to maintenance requirements. A 4-day training course prepares candidates for this form of the examination.

NB: To obtain a qualification in active thermography candidates must pass a BASICS exam based on DIN EN 473.

Measurement of humidity
Object/specimen analysis: construction industry, electrical
installations, industry in general, power plants
Tightness measurements
Ultrasonic testing (wall-thickness measurements) Electrical measurement techniques

Participants and conditions:
This training course addresses persons who have qualifications in engineering or comparable qualifications, experience in the field of thermography (1-4 years following previous education), and have passed the practical Level 2 examination.
