Rezert Level 3

If the candidate already has a certification based on DIN EN 473, Level 3 recertification can be obtained by passing a written examination or via the structured credit system (see p 94). The application for recertification must be made within the 6-month period preceding expiry of the person’s certification. 

Written examination:

The examinations consist of five questions relating to DIN EN 473 (BASIC) and, in each case, 20 questions on each inspection method. These 20 questions are made up of 4 questions relating to the fundamentals of the respective inspection methods, to be answered in a freely-worded fashion, and 16 multiple-choice questions relating to the respective bodies of standards that are currently applicable. A brief period of preparation can be allowed, based on the organization of the exam in this way.

Structured credit system

This option can only be used if during the 5 years prior to the recertification credit points are collected (see EN 473:2008 table C1). The certificated person must proof these credits. Please contact the head of certification at SECTOR Cert (Mr. Jürgensen, phones: +49-221-99594021).
