Have you already considered your recertification?
Your new certificate becomes valid with the certification decision as soon as all requirements for a recertification have been fulfilled. For a continuous certification, please send the recertification application to SECTOR Cert in time - ideally 9 months before your certificate expires. You should take the corresponding recertification exam at least one month before the certificate expires. Wait for confirmation from the certification body before registering for the exam at one of our recognized centers. Make sure that all documents are still valid at the time of the recertification exam. This applies in particular to the validity of the certificate of visual acuity or the written recertification confirmation of the certification body.
Recertification exam - Where and when?
You can take your recertification exam in the appropriate procedure, as well as level at any regular event date in all our examination centers. Which exams do you have to take?
ISO 9712 Level 1 and 2
Level 1 and 2 certificate holders take a practical examination. For level 2 persons, this includes drafting a NDT test instruction.
ISO 9712 Level 3
Level 3 certificate holders must demonstrate one of the following combinations of knowledge and skills. For each of the possibilities 1 to 3 an examination is planned in one of our examination centres.
The written examination consists of 20 multiple-choice questions on the application of the respective method and 5 additional questions on the SECTOR Cert certification programme.
How does the credit system work?
As a Level 3 certificate holder, do you regularly participate in seminars, technical committees or conferences? Are you an examiner or do you write scientific articles? You may be able to prove to us that you always keep your theoretical knowledge up to date. Collect points and save yourself a theoretical exam at the end.
