Impartiality
Declaration of impartiality by SECTOR Cert's top management
Certification is a matter of trust. We at SECTOR Cert understand the importance of impartiality for a trustworthy personal certification.
The certifications of the SECTOR Cert are open to all persons. The rules and procedures leading to certification are designed to be fair, transparent and comprehensible to all applicants, candidates and certified persons.
All members of the certification body involved in the certification process are obliged to act objectively and impartially and to disclose possible threats to impartiality through conflicts of interest, lack of objectivity, familiarity of involved persons or intimidation.
In order to ensure impartiality, the persons of the certification body are independent of financial and commercial influences as well as technical instructions from top management, other business areas or affiliated companies in all activities and decisions in the certification process.
All parties interested in certification by SECTOR Cert are represented in the steering committee. Top management shall provide the Steering Committee with regular insight into risk analyses and our handling of complaints and appeals so that the Committee can form an opinion on the hazard potential and the effectiveness of measures to maintain the impartiality and independence of certification decisions.
Top management undertakes to deal openly with complaints and appeals. An appropriate investigation for the clarification and expedient handling of justified complaints and appeals is part of our company's practised business policy.
Identification of risks
Every certification is a matter of trust.
In this spirit we are keen to continually identify and remove all risks regarding your trust in our certification decisions. Please send all risks that you have identified either with your name or anonymously by mail or directly via e-mail.
