Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Level 1 according to DIN EN ISO 9712
Training
Training courses have to cover the training contents recognized by the UT technical committee.
The minimum time of training is 8 days. (One day duration is at least 7 hours, which can be achieved on a single day or by accumulating hours.)
Training courses for Ultrasonic Testing level 1 take place at locations recognized by SECTOR Cert.

Number of test specimen initial examination
In product sectors at least two test specimen are to be used. The second and every additional specimen has to be a different type from the previous one(s), e. g. shape of the product, material properties, form, size and type of defect.
