Safety is the strongest argument for non-destructive testing (NDT). Hidden defects in plants, components and buildings are detected early and preventively. Anyone working in NDT helps every day to avoid risks to human life, costly material damage and environmental disasters.
These responsible tasks therefore require qualified personnel – i.e. defined requirements and evidence of knowledge and experience for those who select and apply NDT techniques and methods depending on the situation. Where in doubt, such responsibility requires documented proof of personnel qualification in line with the state of the art and best professional judgement. We know what we are doing
Since 1993 we have been qualifying and certifying NDT personnel from all areas of industry. The SECTOR Cert certificate is recognised nationally and internationally. Our customers value this in their daily work in quality assurance and quality control.
SECTOR Cert is an independent company. We are accredited by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) for the regulated and non-regulated areas in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17024. For the regulated area we are also notified by the Central Authority of the Federal States for Safety (ZLS). Our services are monitored in annual audits. This means you can be sure that all our training, examinations and certifications are carried out independently, up to date, and in line with the minimum requirements of the relevant standards and directives.

SECTOR Cert’s certification programmes reliably provide the same high standard worldwide.
- Training materials of all recognised training and examination centres are reviewed against our qualification content by our technical committees and approved.
- Examination questions come from a pool of approx. 13,000 questions. Each examination is always compiled by SECTOR Cert or by qualification bodies authorised by SECTOR Cert for this purpose.
- Our examination officers are qualified, authorised and monitored by SECTOR Cert.
- Certification is always based on our certification programmes. These meet the minimum requirements of the personnel qualification standard DIN EN ISO 9712, DIN ISO 18436-1, the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU and ANSI/ASNT CP-105 for employer-based certification according to SNT-TC-1A and ANSI/ASNT CP-189.
