Good reasons for personnel certification
Safety is the strongest argument for non-destructive testing (NDT) and condition monitoring: hidden defects in plants, components and structures are detected early – reducing risks to people, assets and the environment.
That is why these tasks require qualified personnel: clearly defined requirements for knowledge and experience, and documented evidence for those who select and apply methods according to the situation. Where responsibility is high, proof of personnel qualification in line with the state of the art is essential.

Experience and independence since 1993
Since 1993, SECTOR Cert has been qualifying and certifying personnel in non-destructive testing and condition monitoring across all areas of industry. The SECTOR Cert certificate is recognised nationally and internationally – an advantage for everyday quality assurance and quality control.
SECTOR Cert is an independent company. We are continuously monitored by DAkkS (German Accreditation Body) in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17024 for both the regulated and the non-regulated areas. For the regulated area we are also notified by ZLS (Central Authority of the Federal States for Safety Technology).
Our services are monitored at all points in annual audits. You can therefore rely on training, examinations and certification being carried out independently, up to date and in line with the minimum requirements of the applicable standards and directives. Consistently high standards worldwide
SECTOR Cert’s certification programmes reliably deliver the same high standard worldwide – regardless of location.
- Training materials of all recognised training and examination centres are reviewed against the qualification content by competent persons and approved.
- Examination questions come from a pool of around 13,000 questions. Each examination is always newly compiled by SECTOR Cert.
- Examination officers are qualified, authorised and monitored by SECTOR Cert.
- Certification is always based on our certification programmes. These meet the minimum requirements of the personnel qualification standards DIN EN ISO 9712 and DIN ISO 18436, the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU, and ANSI/ASNT CP-105 for employer-based certification according to SNT-TC-1A and ANSI/ASNT CP-189.
