Basic training for Level 3 according to DIN EN ISO 9712

The basic course is the foundation of Level 3 training. Here you acquire – beyond the general fundamentals of personnel qualification – broad and solid basic knowledge. You gain a thorough insight into the common main methods and, beyond that, a detailed overview of other NDT methods.

Passing the BASIC examination is one of the prerequisites for Level 3 certification in a main method. Since the introduction of DIN EN ISO 9712:2012, participation in the basic training is no longer mandatory (but is recommended).

Basic courses monitored by SECTOR Cert are organised by VECTOR TUB GmbH.

Training should cover the training content recognised by the BASIC technical committee.

The training duration is 10 days. (The duration of a training day is at least seven hours, which may be completed on a single day or by accumulated hours.)

Participation in BASIC training is not mandatory; only the passed BASIC examination is a prerequisite for Level 3 certification.
