Our committees
SECTOR Cert’s competence is based on the voluntary commitment of the members of our committees. Members come from research and development, the service sector, professional associations, inspection bodies and industry. With their knowledge and expertise they help monitor, continuously improve and keep our qualification programme and its content up to date.
Steering Committee
The SECTOR Cert Steering Committee monitors the impartiality and non-discrimination of the certification body. It advises us on strategic matters and ensures that all interested parties are considered in our work. The Steering Committee decides on appeals, i.e. complaints against SECTOR Cert certification decisions.

Technical committees and Programme Committee
In the technical committees, interested parties define and monitor the qualification content of training and examinations. Market-specific requirements and changes in application standards are discussed here and assessed for relevance to our qualification content.
In the Programme Committee, the chairs of all technical committees meet and advise SECTOR Cert on cross-method questions relating to our qualification programme.
