Experience time
For intended certification according to DIN EN ISO 9712, industrial experience must be confirmed by a referee.
For intended certification according to ISO 18436, evidence may alternatively be submitted to the certification body for review. Experience can be evidenced via a logbook, invoices, reference lists, etc.
Referee
A referee is a person who confirms the validity of the candidate’s industrial experience. The person must be certified at Level 2 or Level 3 in any NDT method. Proof of certification or competence must be submitted on request for recognition by SECTOR Cert.
A non-certified person who has the knowledge, skills, training and experience required to confirm the candidate’s industrial experience may also act as referee. In this case approval by SECTOR Cert is required.
