Why is this examination required?
Passing a practical Level 2 examination according to DIN EN ISO 9712 in the respective main method and the corresponding sector is a prerequisite for Level 3 certification.
Writing an NDT instruction for the Level 1 operator, as usually required in practical Level 2 examinations, is not required here.
The examination also serves as evidence of continued practical ability for Level 3 recertification.
The practical examination may be omitted if the candidate holds a valid Level 2 certificate from an accredited certification body.
Where and when can the examination be taken?
Practical Level 2 examinations take place following Level 2 training on the day as part of the Level 2 examination.
