Validity of qualification examinations
Results of qualification examinations generally remain valid as the basis for the certification decision for five (5) years. The exact rules on validity are described in the respective certification programme.
Inspection of examination results
Inspection of the assessed examination may be requested in writing from the certification body within 30 days of notification of the official examination result. Inspection always takes place on the premises at SECTOR Cert’s registered office and is conducted without any electronic devices or means of taking notes, accompanied by a person appointed by SECTOR Cert. Inspection is limited to a maximum of 1 hour.
Appeal against examination results
An appeal against an examination result must be addressed in writing or by email to the certification body. A second independent assessment of the examination is then carried out by a representative of the certification body. No later than 6 weeks after submission of the appeal you will receive the result of the second assessment.
